David S. Edelstein founded DSE Marketing & Licensins in 1998, after three decades of successully building and promoting food brands throughout both retail and wholesale industries.

Based in Freehold, NJ, DSE is a full-service consulting firm that licenses, positions and introduces new products to market.

DSE projects include licensing the Yoo-hoo name from Dr. Pepper/Snapple for Yoo-hoo frozen fudge bar; develping a Mike & Ike sorbet ice pop; and creating a frozen dessert item from the Entenmann’s family of brands.

During that time, DSE has also taken on the challenge of bringing a one regional ice cream manufacturer to national prominence. In consulting with Mister Cookie Face in Lakewood, NJ, David was able to develop a national presence for their brand(s) and assist growing sales by 20 million dollars across multiple trade channels. His actions and business plan resulted in the successful and profitable sale of the company in May 2010.
