Believing that Mike & Ike candy would transition well into an ice cream novelty, DSE approacheded Just Born, Inc., the company that owns the Mike & Ike brand. Just Born was a company on the rise, building their brands through advertising and looking for new and innovative ways to expand.

DSE indentified several ice cream companies and ultimately selected MGI Group to produce and sell the Mike & Ike ice product. DSE negotiated and delivered a signed agreement to MGI and worked with them to formulate and develop this product.

The Mike & Ike ice product had a successful run at both Sam’s Clubs and Schwann’s home delivery.
